Carolina Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart Hosts Charlotte Youth Camp Next Month

Jonathan Stewart had a bounceback season in 2015 for the Super Bowl-bound Carolina Panthers.  As one of the established stars of the team, his popularity is at an all-time high.

Stewart is bound to have a lot of excited kids at his upcoming youth camp in Charlotte.  He will host the event June 10-11 at Ardrey Kell High School.

Campers in grades 1-8 can register to attend for $249.  The camp runs each morning from 9 a.m.  to 12:30 p.m. and each participant will receive an autograph from Stewart, a team photo and camp t-shirt.

In 13 regular season games, Stewart rushed for 989 yards and six touchdowns.  He was a key offensive weapon in the Panthers playoff win over the Seattle Seahawks, running for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

Overall, Stewart finished eight in the league in rushing in 2015 and was named to the Pro Bowl.  He has ran for 700 or more yards in six of his eight seasons.

During each of his first two seasons, Stewart scored ten rushing touchdowns.  Carolina originally drafted him 13th overall out of Oregon in the 2008 NFL Draft.
