Devonta Freeman became a star with the Atlanta Falcons last year.  His growing popularity will undoutedly help make his youth camp in the Atlanta-area a success next month. 

On June 4th and 5th, the Kroger Unplug and Play Devonta Freeman Football ProCamp will take place.  The sessions each day will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m for kids in grades 1-8.

The camp is at Meadowcreek High School in Norcross, Georgia.  Registration is $149 and campers will receive an autograph from Freeman, team photo and camp t-shirt. 

In his second season with the Falcons, Freeman was truly a breakout.  He ran for 1,056 yards and tied for the NFL lead with 11 rushing touchdowns. 

Also a dangerous receiving threat, Freeman caught 73 passes for 578 yards.  For his tremendous play, he was named a second-team All-Pro and Pro Bowler.  

Atlanta originally selected Freeman in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.  He played collegiately at Florida State and was named to the All-ACC first team as a junior in 2013.
