The race for companies to scoop up potential stars as endorsers from this summer's Olympic Games continues. American track and field standout Ashton Eaton is the latest of these gold-medal hopefuls to agree to a deal.
Eaton has agreed to an endorsement deal with Gillette. He previously worked with the parent company, Proctor & Gamble, on a campaign centered around the 2012 Olympics in London.
P&G will again feature Eaton in their "Moms" campaign that he was apart of in 2012. In addition to endorsing Gillette's razors, he has previously agreed to sponsor deals with Coca-Cola and Visa for the Rio Games.
Eaton is the world record holder in the decathlon and heptathlon. He won the Olympic gold medal in declathlon in 2012 and is looking for a repeat in 2016.
In addition to his triumph at the Games, Eaton has won decathlon gold at the 2013 and 2015 World Championships. He has also captured gold in heptathlon at the 2012 and 2014 World Indoor Championships.
Eaton broke out onto the track and field scene while at the University of Oregon. He won a total of five NCAA Championships and the 2010 Bowerman Award.
